Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is one of the most enchanting provinces of Thailand, where morning is born in the cool of mountain mist, and the first rays of sun gild ancient temples and green slopes. At the foot of the mountains lies a lively, welcoming city with stylish cafés, restaurants, galleries, markets and busy streets, where centuries-old culture sits alongside a modern rhythm of life.

Drive just a few kilometres and it slowly dissolves, giving way to peaks, waterfalls and dense forests, among which hide quiet villages, tea plantations and roads that run to the horizon. Here the air is full of the scent of flowers and damp earth, and sunsets over the northern ridges feel made for long reflection.
